Thumsters App comes preloaded with the most common reasons for thumbs up and for thumbs down. With Thumsters Plus, you are able to customize your family reasons and add your own Thumbs up and Thumbs down reasons making it specific to your family and day to day situations.
Create a custom Thumbs Up or Down reason (Thumsters Plus)
Adding your own can both add a bit of fun and also make the app uniquely tailored to your family!
Tap "Settings" (⚙️ in top right hand corner)
Tap "Edit thumb reasons".
Once you are in the reasons lists, you can toggle left or right up the top of the screen for Up or Down reasons.
Tap the "Add an Up/Down reaons +" button to create a new custom reason and edit the settings to suit your needs.
Tap "Save".
Edit the value of a built in reason
You can only change the value of the built in reasons. It is not possible to change their names. If you do not want a particular reason it can be hidden from the list.
Tap "Settings" (⚙️ in top right hand corner)
Tap "Edit thumb reasons".
Once you are in the reasons lists, you can toggle left or right up the top of the screen for Up or Down reasons.
Tap on a reason that you wish to edit.
Set the value you wish to give that reason.
Tap "Save".
Hide a reason
Tap "Settings" (⚙️ in top right hand corner)
Tap "Edit thumb reasons".
Once you are in the reasons lists, you can toggle left or right up the top of the screen for up or down reasons.
Tap on a reason that you wish to edit.
Toggle the "Hide Reason" switch.
Tap "Save".
Change the order the reasons
Tap "Settings" (⚙️ in top right hand corner)
Tap "Edit thumb reasons".
Once you are in the reasons lists, you can toggle left or right up the top of the screen for Up or Down reasons.
Tap on the reorder button
to put the list in reorder mode.Tap hold and drag the reasons up or down using the reorder handle
to set the order you want it in the list.Tap on the reorder button
to exit reorder mode.
Delete or trash a reasons
Only custom thumbs (Thumsters Plus) can be deleted, not pre-loaded or standard reasons.
Tap "Settings" (⚙️ in top right hand corner)
Tap "Edit thumb reasons".
Once you are in the reasons lists, you can toggle left or right up the top of the screen for Up or Down reasons.
Tap on the reason you wish to delete.
Tap on the red trash can in the bottom left corner.
